Introduction
Solaro is a comprehensive solar management application designed to assist users in monitoring their solar energy production, tracking the installation process, and accessing support as needed.
Problem
Users are facing challenges in managing their contracts and monitoring progress following the purchase of their solar systems. There is a need for improved tools and resources to facilitate better organization and oversight throughout the installation and service process to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
Goal
Users are able to sign their contracts, monitor their progress following a solar panel installation order, and have available access to an expert for any inquiries or assistance required.
Research
Beginning with white paper research, I explored various articles on the solar energy installation process and identified the most frequent mistakes made by solar energy companies.
- Challenges in coordinating among experts
- Difficulty in obtaining expert and customer service support
- Lengthy processes for contract signing and review
- Deceptive advertising practices, highlighted by the statistic that
"apps lose 77% of their daily average users within the first three days post-download if they fail to meet user expectations."

I conducted user research and focused on several key questions:

The competition had no clear way of showing progress aspect.
I examined several competitors, particularly the most relevant ones related to this goal. I discovered that very few offered seamless features for tracking or monitoring installation and contract progress, which could assist users in reaching their objectives. This insight presented an opportunity for my solution.
